The OpenComm UC, designed for an optimized Work-From-Home experience, is engineered with patented 7th generation bone conduction technology, a Loop 100 wireless adapter, and our signature open-ear design, enabling all-day comfort and crystal-clear communication when using computers and/or web conferencing.

The open-ear design ensures that nothing will be in or covering your ears, providing long-lasting comfort, day after day. Weighing only 33g, the headset is extremely lightweight and coated in soft silicone with a flexible wraparound frame, making it comfortable for all-day wear.

The advanced DSP noise-canceling boom microphone and noise reduction algorithms ensure crystal-clear calls and smooth voice communication. Equipped with 7th bone conduction technology and PremiumPitch™ 2.0, the headset can easily pick up and equalize medium and high-frequency vocals for unrivaled communication, ensuring you never miss a word during important calls or when listening to audio.

The Loop 100 USB-A wireless adapter provides a more stable and continuous connection between the headset and the computer, enabling a seamless office communication experience. The open-ear design allows users to stay connected to their surroundings and respond to things in a timely manner, while the multipoint pairing feature enables easy switching between up to two devices for improved work efficiency.

Featuring Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, the headset offers a stable connection, allowing you to participate in calls without worrying about stability issues. It boasts up to 16 hours of talk time, up to 8 hours of listening/music time, and a quick charge feature that provides 2 hours of talk time with just a 5-minute charge. Additionally, the headset is IP55 water-resistant, with a water-resistant acoustic mesh design for the microphone.

While the OpenComm UC sends vibrations to your inner ear using bone conduction technology, providing a private listening experience, it differs from the OpenComm in that the UC version comes with a Loop 100 wireless adapter to improve performance for those using the headset with a computer. The OpenComm, on the other hand, is better suited for taking calls on the go while paired to a mobile phone.

It's important to note that OpenComm UC is water-resistant and sweat-resistant, with an IP55 durability rating, but it is not waterproof. Additionally, only AfterShokz OpenComm and AfterShokz OpenComm UC, as well as Shokz versions, are compatible with the Loop 100 wireless adapter; other Shokz headphones and other brands are not supported. The boom microphone on the OpenComm UC cannot be detached, but it can be swiveled up and down.
